Will I need to update the bios on my Asus Prime B365m-A motherboard to run an i5 9400 processor?
I am so confused about this. I've heard multiple reports from people posting questions about 9th generation intel processors not working with B365 and B360 motherboards.
On the websites they say the B365m-A motherboards support 8th and 9th gen processors.
I am really worried about this. I had to RMA a motherboard because the M2 slot was not working.
The new motherboard I ordered is a B365M-A but I am fretting if I will need to buy an 8th gen processor costing me another 60$ or so to just update the bios.
More than the money the time is a constraint. Right now deliveries are taking weeks to arrive and I am really going to be dejected that I still don't have my brand new PC up and running after 4 weeks....
