[SOLVED] Will i7 7700k be a bottleneck?

Just got an RTX 2080 and plan to play at 1440p 144hz. Will the i7 7700k be a bottleneck at stock frequency? Should I get an i9 or an 8700k?

No, it will not be a bottleneck. That CPU is obviously not going to have a much muscle as a newer gen of i7 but it still very much capable of running any currently available graphics card. There are people running those graphics cards on old Sandy and Ivy bridge CPUs with some loss of FPS but still well enough to not warrant an upgrade.
