I am buying a r9 270x sapphire of edition, I just want to know if the antec VP 500 has the connectors to supply the wattage.

Yes it will handle that. It is big enough and has the 2 required PCIe power connectors.

The antec has one 6+2 and one 6 PCI Express. So if the card uses these which it probably does , yes it will but you would have to check the card or give me the exact model that you're buying
