Question Will my GPU break?

Hello. I’m building my own computer, along with a diy case. I have a GTX 1650 dual fan, https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/pny-geforce-gtx-1650-4gb-dual-fan/apd/ac152756/graphic-video-cards. If I don’t support it with a bracket or anything, will the pci-e connector break or get damaged from the weight of my GPU? Thanks

Mobo, PSU, 2 HDDs I had lying around, all mounted to a piece of wood, then I'll add some acrylic or something like that around it so it will be enclosed with a back io hole and some case fans.

So the GPU just hanging off the PCIe slot?

May or may not be OK.
Personally, I'd work up some support thing, to keep it from sagging.

Sure, I’ll work something out as a stand for the GPU. But, if I did have only the GPU hanging there, is it possible for it to break?

Yes.

Just need something to take the weight and leverage off the slot.
