Hi I just started using NiceHash. Its a Bitcoin mining program. Question is Im currently using GTX 1060 3gb ASUS. Will my GPU die since as per checking at the monitoring VRAM usage is 100%. As per my observation when playing games the monitor doesn't reaches 100% Vram usage in my GPU Tweak 2 Monitoring. Hope you can help. Thanks

A video card under heavy use will run hotter, but in general that should not kill it.

As games get more demanding you will find some that will max out the card in a similar way.

Just keep an eye on the temperatures and make sure the computer has good air flow(since this will help with the temperatures.). Some people crank up the fan speed when mining or running other distributed computing programs.

can you teach me how? Thanks

You can use NiceHash to mine Ethereum, just go to hardware details, click on the down arrow on the piece of hardware you want to mine with, and deselect every algorithm except for DaggerHashimoto. But it might be more profitable just to enable all algorithms, it seems like I make more that way.

Just keep her cool. Maybe apply a more aggressive fan curve. Always be aware what is here today can be gone tomorrow https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/fourth-largest-cryptocurrency-exchange-was-hacked-users-lose-ethereum-and-bitcoin/ .
