Will my PSU be able to run my Graphics Card?

BTW, I have minimal understanding, I'm sorry. I just barely got into computers. So I might sound stupid. But I gotta start somewhere lol

So I have a SHARK ATX-500 PSU (500W) and I'm trying to install my graphics card, which is Nvidia GeForce 660 Ti. Will it be able to run it just fine? And then also, I need two 6-pin connectors for the graphics card to run. I only have one free 4pin molex in my rig currently. So I was thinking of getting these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K33CDTK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004NNTVT6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

To connect together, I'd insert the first product into my 4 pin molex. Then I insert the first product's other end (6pin) into the second product. Then the second product's other end (2 6pin) to the graphics card.

Would that be fine? And I noticed the first product only has 3 wires per molex and only 3 silver things (I don't know what those are called) but amazon said it was 3 to 4 pin molex.

I'd love to learn from what you guys have to say. Thank you!

PSU is very low quality It is not made by a top OEM aka SuperFlower or SeaSonic. I would not use that PSU in any of my builds. PSU belongs in tier 5.

PSU Tier 2.0 List: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Tier 5 means:
Tier Five
Avoid IMMEDIATELY. These units are highly unsafe to use. No such protections added, very thin gauge wiring used, false advertising and too much to list. Reference to a higher tiered unit for a better, money saving and a much safer unit. For your safety's sake, please don't order or pick one up for use in your system. These units are a potential fire hazard and could even kill you, let alone your system.

Get a decent PSU such as EVGA's 550w GS or 550w G2. If you are on a budget get a XFX all are decent and cheap. Another good look is the Antec HCG.

Best pick: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1
Second best: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0650v1
Third best: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550gts3x

You probably can get by with this: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg520m
However I would recommend this one over the 520w: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg620m
Wattage is less important than the quality when picking PSU's.

That PSU is absolutely horrible. Its a cheap generic pos. It is only rated for 22a on the 12v rail which is very poor. That psu should not be used in any system at any load. The PSu is a very important component as its the one part in the system that can fry everything.

Man, looking at that PSU on Amazon, you can almost smell the electrical fire. I've seen hair thicker than that wiring.

When you have to convert 4 pin Molex to 6 pin GPU you know you do not have a very good and reliable power supply, take one of TurtleFan's picks or if none of those are available go for a Corsair CX600 :)

Yeah, I hear that the PSU is something you don't want to be cheap on. Thanks for the input though!

Thanks, would check it out! However, I have amazon prime and I saw this one: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Continuous-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1443047375&sr=1-1&keywords=psu

Would this be decent enough or should I just aim for one of your picks that you listed? Thanks for your input!

That can't be good lol. Thanks for the input!

Bad choice. It is lower than tier 2 and I would never go below tier 2 with any kind of stressed build. If you are doing any gaming or rendering on it do not go below tier 2. If you want a different option I would look at the EVGA B2 750W. The G1 / B1 / and other NEX units are sub par.
