Will pci express 3.0 x16 card work in pci 2.0 x16 slot?

actually my mother board is
Intel® Desktop Board DH55PJ
One PCI Express* 2.0 x 16 bus add-in card connector
Two PCI Express 2.0 x 1 connectors
One PCI Conventional bus connector
but my graphics card ZOTAC GTX 650 Ti Synergy Edition 2GB 128-bit DDR5 Graphics Card having Bus Standard PCI Express 3.0 x16 can i use my graphics card by putting it in 2.0 x16 slot? or iz ther any problem by using that in 2.0 x16 slot?
