[SOLVED] will simcity 4 work on a version of mac before 10.8?

i want to install simcity 4 from the app store on my macbook and it says os x 10.8 or later, what does that mean? does it mean that simcity will work on os x version that comes before 10.8? I'm also finding out that i need to run a powerpc mac in order for simcity to work.

It means the oldest version of OS X that will run SimCity 4 is 10.8. Anything older than that will not work.
