I have a question I would like to buy this monitor (
ACER Nitro VG240Ybmipx 23.8 FHD IPS 1ms Monitor Black
[ https://mediamarkt.pl/komputery-i-tablety/monitor-acer-nitro-vg240ybmipx-23-8-fhd-ips-1ms-czarny ]) but I am not sure 100 percent that I can use it with functionality. I have a laptop that uses Nvidia Gtx1050, my laptop is this (https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GV62-8RC/Specification ). I did a little bit research they were told that if you want to use Freesync with Nvidia GPU you have to use it through a display port, but my laptop doesn't have a display port it has a mini display port so if I buy a male display port to mini display port cable will it work properly?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It should work. Make sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your laptop, the latest version for your OS and that you're also on the latest GPU drivers prior to plugging the monitor to your laptop.

Thank you :). So if everything is updated I will be able to use it with Freesync on right?
