Ive seen this question asked a lot but have never seen the answer im looking for. Will a 1060 paired with a 144hz non g sync monitor have screen tearing issues? Being that the cheapest g sync monitors are $400+ I cant afford one right now. If anyone runs a 1060 with a 144hz monitor let me know. I would be playing a variety of new and old games

If V-sync/G-sync/etc. is not enabled, you get tearing. Period. You can use a G-sync monitor and turn V-sync on, and not get tearing.

One of the nice things about a high refresh rate is tearing is far less noticeable, so you may be happy, even with a little tearing on that 144hz monitor.
