Hi guys. I've decided to get an HD 7970 card soon and was thinking of finally begin learning how to OC my i7 920 CPU. The stock cpu fan i have right now is thick with dust and the airflow doesn't really get into it, so I thought i could grab an aftermarket Heatsink.

But I'm not sure if it will fit or not for my current case (as this is my first time using an aftermarket heatsink).

Will it fit? or not?

Solution
I also have a HAF 912. My 212 EVO is 0.5mm taller than the 212+ and fits with room to spare. I have a 140mm fan in my side panel but it extends below the cooler so it is no issue. Your 230mm side fan may extend up to where it is partially in line with the cooler. That would be the only 'iffy' issue. Even with that, I believe there is enough room for the 1" thick fan to clear the cooler.
