Question Will the thermaltake R1 RGB ram cover fit over g. Skill's?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anybody has tried fitting the Thermaltake Pacific R1 Plus DDR4 Memory Lighting Kit on top of g. Skill ripjaw v's? I'm hoping it will fit.

Honestly, you're overthinking it with watercooling the rams. They don't even dump heat into the system. If you're here only for an answer, the ram heatsink/blocks should go over any ram on the market so long as you're working with DDR4 rams, ofc.

Did you work out if the cover fits?

Yes mate it fits, however it's not the best look. I have considered removing it all together.

Oh really? Got a pic? What don't you like about it?

How much width does it add? My CPU fan almost lines up with first RAM slot. I'm worried the RGB cover will hit the fan.
