Hi all,

one more question about the limited user account. If i set up "C" drive
invisible for the limited user accounts or i deny them accessing "C" drive,
will windows automatical update and norton anti-virus software still work?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Karen

if all Windows and other program files are on your C: drive, then
nothing will work for the limited user account, if you deny it access to
drive C:

in the future, kindly use microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers for basic
questions regarding Windows 101

Disk visibility will not affect applications or process from running.

If as a user the application is not accessible, they won't be able to
'launch' the Anti Virus application and then the update process manually.
