so I am looking to build a gaming PC and i'm kinda new to this and I wanted to ask if these will work together or if you have some suggestions that I should change

CPU: i7-7700k
MOBO: MSI Z270 GAMING PLUS

Swap the psu for something better and swap the cpu for either an i7 8700k or i5 8600k with a z370 motherboard.

yep the 8700k would be a wiser buy.. its about the same price as the 7700k and has more physical cores.

The x62 will not fit the NZXT Source 220.
GPU prices have skyrocketed, you will be lucky to get one at a decent price. Feel free to make changes while checking compatibility.

Edit: swapped PSU for one that has a better cable count & better quality.
