Will this build be a good rig???

i have a i5 2500... non k series.. well im not going to oc it..
my mobo is a asus p8h61-m lx3 r2.0..
ihave 8gb of ram.. gskill sniper 1600mhz (4gbx2)
gigabyte hd 6850 oc edition..
hitachi 500gb hdd 7200rpm...
cougar st 600watts for my psu (80% efficiency)

will i have to upgrade some of my components?? or change something on my rig??

and i will use my rig for gaming.. just for mid-high gaming..

I've never used a cougar ps, but it may be fine. I use the B3 version of your Asus motherboard, and windows 7 did not require a format when changing from amd to Intel, but it depends on your old windows installation and luck of the draw.

U r system config is good.So now u can play all suported games in medium settings.No upgrade needed.8gb ram is enough for all games.
Before install games update windows it automatically update all drivers.
