Looking to buy a pre built gaming PC, I'd like to be able to play all the latest games such as battlefield 4, arma 3, day z, ghost and most others at 1080p in a better quality than I would get on either of the consoles?

Will this build get what I'm after, if not what should I change on it? I would have said a different graphics card but i'm not sure! Thanks to anyone who answers, really appreciate the help.

The AMD build is definitely stronger, as it has a better all round processor and better graphics. I wouldn't say either present fantastic value though, not for £650+peripherals.

The problem with those systems is that if you customise anything they add £25 to the price tag.

I think the intel processor will give you a few more fps. but the trade off will be the video card. the 270x is a little better............but I guess the answer is yes, either machine will be better than a console plus you can make upgrades.

The 270x is ALOT better than a 7850. It is slightly more powerful than a 7870. The CPU will not matter here because we are not talking about REALLY high end GPUs or REALLY low end GPUs. The fx6300 machine will game considerably better.

Is there anywhere else you would recommend that gives good value or am I definitely better building it myself? Whatever happens ill be buying the parts or system in the sales after Christmas
