Hi all,

Ordered a fan splitter, but as per the third picture, it's only showing 3 pins instead of 4. Will this fan splitter work with my motherboard and fans, and will the fans still have the auto fan speed adjust control (PWM)?

Thank you for your help!

Solution
The headers in your last picture have room for 4 pins, but 1 pin is missing. This is the pin that reports back the RPM of the fan. This makes sense. Only one fan of the upto 5 that are plugged in can report back RPM or the motherboard will get a mixed signal. I expect if you look at all the headers, you will find one that has all 4 pins.
