Will this PC run GTA V smoothly? (normal settings)

Core 2 Quad Q9300 (no overclocking)
8GB of DDR2 RAM
GTX555 (OEM Graphics card)

I will install the game on a HDD.

Will replacing the GTX555 with a GTX660 help a lot?
But wouldn't the GPU be too powerful than the CPU?

That's not a bad processor, but guessing from the card number, you have a half size / micro atx case right? The DDR2 Ram should be good since you have 8GB, and the graphics card should do alright, kind of. A GPU upgrade would totally benefit if you could.

Otherwise, I have heard, not definitely because I haven't purchased the game for PC yet, that it is very optimized. Otherwise, you might be able to get a good 30+ FPS out of it if you modify the settings.
