So I'm getting this computer and I plan on upgrading. Would this PSU be able to handle that computer if I upgrade the g-card to a 760 or a 280x?

I also don't know if a PSU needs to be CPU compatible.

May I ask why this psu - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182132 would not work though? Im trying to learn and thanks for that fast reply!
 


I actually have the XFX 550W you listed above in this rig, the rig above is actually going to be my brothers. So going with the XFX 550 would be compatible with the rig?
