Solution

That's right.

When you try to power the motherboard, graphics card, hard disk drive, optical disk, floppy diskette drive all off the same rail that has a maximum current rating of 10 Amps (11 Amps peak current) there's a good chance you will trip the over-current protection on that rail.
i already have a zebronics 9600gt 1gb i think it requires a pci 6 pin connector as i dont have in my psu i will buy a 6 pin connector with a 4 pin plug..here are the amperage in my psu
12v1 11v2
12A 15A
max combined power 285w

the psu is nearly 4 years old if i insert a 9600gt will my cpu parts get damaged..yes i have two 4 pin connectors how to make it a single 6 pin connector pls explain

Delta power supplies, from my experience, usually die gracefully without destroying components that are attached to them.

If the all of the peripheral connectors were wired to the +12V2 15A rail you wouldn't have a problem.

Looking in depth into the +12V rail load distribution reveals a potential problem.

From the power supply specifications I've seen the +12V2 rail is wired to power only the CPU through the 4 Pin ATX12V CPU Power Connector.

The +12V1 rail provides power for the 24 Pin ATX Main Power Connector, 4 Pin Peripheral Power Connector, Serial ATA Power Connector and Floppy Drive Power Connector.

This power supply's +12V rail load distribution doesn't bode well for your intended use with a GeForce 9600 GT.

so my psu cannot be used with 9600gt right..
