Its me, again..
so i was wondering if this would work. 2x4gb but diffrent brands. one from kingston and other one from crucial, will these work together in dual channel or single channel? and will performence will be lost? i really want to play battlefield 1 and 5 but i just dont have enough ram, i can save up 5$ more for the kingston one but waiting times are high and i can just cut the price in half and get the same capacity and mhz, 8th gen i3 8100 and asus prime h310m-d.

The only RAM guaranteed to work together without issue is RAM bought as a kit, for example a 2x8gb kit.

Mixing RAM always has a risk of issues, even the same make and model bought separately can have issues. Most of the time mixing RAM works ok if you are carful to minimise the difference between them (brand/model/speed/timings) but there is always a risk of having issues.
