So my Gtx 770 just came and it requires 4 molex connectors for the 2-8 pins problem is i've only got three but I found out that there are things called molex splitter i'm going to get this three way molex splitter http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/400537200044?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&chn=ps&device=c&rlsatarget=&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108

that means I will have 6 molex connectors which will be enough will this work? I don't see any problems and my 650w PSU should be enough for a 770 I just want to make sure. any help will be much appreciated. This is how i'm going to do it

I'm going to put the male molex that came with the splitter into a female molex in my computer and the 3 female molex that came with the splitter will get power I plug two of them in two of the male molex that came with the graphics card that's one 8 pin secured ready to plug in my card then I plug the spare molex that came with splitter in one of the other 8 pin male molex and use the other female molex already in my computer to plug in the other 8 pin male molex and I have 2 working 8 pins ready to go into the Gtx 770. Please tell me if this works Thanks.Plus I don't want to damage my computer so I will post my PSU just In case It's a http://www.cclonline.com/product/81279/A-650BR/Power-Supplies/Ace-650W-BR-Black-PSU/PSU0350/

If your power supply is a quality supply then your makeshift cabling might work or it might melt down. The reason that the 8 pin power cables need two molex connectors is because of amperage and overheating. Splitting a single molex into two does nothing to lessen the amperage on one molex cable. It is quite possible that you will overheat (and melt) the molex connector. They really weren't designed for high amperage.
