Question Will X570 Motherboards have M2 slots that use PCIe4 connectivity?

I know that PCIe4 will enable much faster SSD's using NVMe. But will this extend to the M.2 slots, or will only apply to SSD's plugged into a PCIe card?

I am thinking of building an ITX build, but want the fastest possible SD's.

Depends on the motherboard model, but PCIe M.2 socket 3 models with PCIe 4.0 performance will be there. Like:

Thanks for that. I figured there would have to be. It seems most of the announcements just passed me by. I am NOT a gamer, but run an SQL Server Database that I'd like to be as fast as possible.
