I have already ran into a problem trying to load the ATI Windows 7 Beta drivers for my HD3870 video card. After install it keeps saying "no drivers installed for the video card." Just thought you guys would like to know.

I have 2-3870s in xfire, i installed ccc 8.12 64bit with no problems on my win 7 beta. uninstall the drivers and try again.

I picked up 10-15 fps on COD5. I still needed a DX9 .dll. That brings up a question. DXIAG says it is running DX11. What gives.?

I agree. It is similar. I never used vista for any real time. My wife has it. Ive had xp 32 for years. The desktop is similar to vista. I have had no problem finding my way around control panel, device manager...all that hasnt changed much.

so far, i still like it. The 64 bit is a nice improvement for me personally. Now i can use all 4G of RAM and 1G of video RAM.

edit: mouse? find it in control panel > ease of access.

There are crap load of items in" control panel > all control panel items". There is another mouse item in there.

My system had a Windows Experience score of 7.9 on average, except the HD i used for this beta is a 5 year old sata. It scored a 2.9. lol. 7.9 is the highest. CPU 6.9, memory 5.9, graphics 7.9, 3d graphics 6.0.

i can understand my cpu being 6.9. It is a dual core, even tho it is at 3.8G. I guess my patriot 2.0v RAM DDR2 score lower because there is DDR3 out now. My 2 CF 3870s are a bit dated. Otherswise not a bad score. I need a better hard drive for my final build.

edit: 3dmark06 scored 16400. On win xp 32 it usually scores 17000.
I havent tried vantage yet.
