Win ME Problem

i have a niggling problem in ME and i can't seem to find a soution!
every now nd then, the 'show web content on desktop' option is automatically turned off! this removes my desktop wall paper and i have to re-enable it to get the picture back! anyone know whats causing this? any help greatly aprechiated!

Last time that happened to me, I had a corrupt modem .DLL file that windows was trying to use when booting up. In my case I reinstalled my ISP client program and let it replace all files in windows/system and it solved it. So my advice to you is to test some stuff and see if all your programs are working properly etc. Windows has a problem with something in your computer.
