Went to logon this morning and a message appeared after choosing MY logon saying that the profile for me was corrupt or missing and a temp logon profile would be used.

Where would my "corrupt" profile be or where was it located prior to this "corruptness"?

I cant get to my bookmarks/favorites under mozilla firefox 9.0 either! (Anybody know where mozilla stores favorites/bookmarks for each user?)

How do i repair this corrupt file so I can get back to EVERYTHING under my logon?

OK, did a search here and tried this recommendation. . .

Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted" error message when you try to log on to Windows XP

old profile is corrupted Win XP:

When you copy user data into a new profile, the
new profile becomes a near duplicate of the old
profile, and contains the same preferences, appearance, and
documents as the old profile. If your old profile is corrupted
in some way, you can move the files and settings from the
corrupt profile to a new profile.

Which basically says copy over your ntuser files( Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log
and Ntuser.ini) to a newly created user.

But when i try to copy ntuser.dat, I get crc error or cant find file on disk. I can see it under the users folder but i cant copy/move/open it?

any thoughts?
