Question Win10 Installation Failed

I keep getting an installation failed. Going from Win8.1 to 10.

Its a statement and question. Yes, can't figure out why it keeps saying installation failed. Its an HP. It meets all sys requirements.

Are you using some upgrade option or are you attempting a fresh install with a usb created by the Windows Media Creation Tool? If HP initially installed W 8.1 they may have placed some kind of restrictions or rescue files on the drive that prevent upgrading. You should probably consult HP about that. Or alternately you could just wipe the drive and fresh install W10 that way if you're OK with all your prior files being lost. Let us know if you need help with that.

What is "it?" What is the message? Where is the message? When is the message? None of us can you see your PC or examine it in any way and we only know the information that you tell us. And when you tell us nothing, then we can only know nothing.

Sometimes 3rd party antivirus can interfere with upgrade.
It's advsed to uninstall antivirus for time of upgrade.

Its installing now, I needed to enable Legacy boot and turn off secure boot in BIOS.
