Hopefully this is a simple issue. I have an old Win7 desktop that I want to access from my Win11 desktop & Win10 tablet.

All the computers can SEE each other on the network, but can't access (yes, they're shared) drives on the Win7 PC.

The Win7 PC can access files on the Win10 & Win11 computers, and the Win10 & 11 computers can access each other, but the Win7 PC refuses access.

Win11 sees but can't access.

Win7 can access the others. File Sharing without passwords is enabled.

As you can see on the Win7 PC, multiple folders are shared with Full Access. I don't know what I'm missing. Configuration:

Any help is appreciated. TIA.

Win10 and Win11 dropped the SMB v1 protocol. You may want to investigate which SMB version your Windows 7 host is advertising -- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...leshoot/detect-enable-and-disable-smbv1-v2-v3
You might also want to check the key length that the Windows 7 host is configured for. The newer OS versions default to a more secure encryption.
