Hello! i've just bought myself a Crucial P1 500GB M.2 NVMe and everytime i try to install windows on it i have to disconnect my HDD in order to be able to install windows on the ssd. When i try to install win on the ssd it says that it can not be installed on this drive. If i look in the bios under sata drives or something like that i can see that there is a section named software preserved-supported under my hdd and under my ssd it says not supported. Any ideeas as to why it does that?
PC specs:
I5 8600k
Z370M DS3H
GTX 1070
SSD Crucial P1 500GB M.2 NVMe
HDD: Seagate barracuda 500gb

Solution
Have a new rig, want a clean install of WIN 10 to an M.2 SSD, but it's not initialized. How do I do that if I have no OS?

Any drive you buy is empty, need to either buy Win10 from a PC store or create one yourself and buy key separately from MS store.
