Windows 10 Constant Crashes with no explanation

My PC has recently been crashing for no reason that I can find. There is no error code, the PC just shuts off randomly. Doesn't seem to matter what program it is, for instance it will crash two minutes after opening an internet browser, or when I check the task manager. I have cleared out all the memory space I can, so I don't think that is a problem. Any help or insight would be much appreciated

Is this a laptop? Desktop? Was it an upgrade to Windows 10? Or a clean install?

desktop, clean install. Its a custom gaming PC my dad built, but he didn't know what he was doing when he set it up, and neither do I.

does it turn off the system completely? or reboot and start windows again when it crashes?

run cpuz if you can before the system reboots: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.77-en.zip then post some of your specs

Open up the tower too, take a look at the PSU too and post the make/model along with the other specs CPU-Z brings up.
I have a feeling it's going to be relevant.
