Question Windows 10 Crashes after Adding a Hard Drive

I have a system that has a number of storage devices and run from both onboard and a basic Raid Card PCIe

the issue im having is if i happen to add one more drive the system crashes

if i add any more to the raid the system starts to boot then blue screens no matter what drive im adding , i know it can not be a faulty drive as i have tried many variations yet the pcie raid card has 2 more spaces yet
still crashes every time

The Power Supply is a Corsair HX1000 and brand new so i dont think it could be a power issue on a PSU level

Verify that the motherboard will indeed support a 7th hard drive.

Per physically numbered Page 11 and Chapter 3 (starting on Page 67) I am not convinced that a 7th drive is doable..

what has that got to do with having a raid card that accept 4 got to do with a mother board that accepts 6 onboard , im not using the motherboard im using a pcie asustek card for the additional drives

JBoD creates a single disk from several. You seem to have 2 individual disks so I assume you may have 1 disk in each jbod?

> incorrect JBOD;s create 1 Drive per individual Drive connected , no RAID backup . No Stripped / No Spanned , have 4 ports you have 4 Individual Drives

You can have a single disk JBoD but what's the point of that? A normal non-raid sata controller does that.
The intended purpose for it is to congregate several disparate disks into one volume with no stripping or redundancy; just shear space. When one disk gets fill data starts filling the next in the JBoD.

every Raid card support JBOD , its your choice if you activate RAID or not , once i know that all 4 drives work then i will decide on which raid , but if i can get all 4 drives active first whats the point of creating a raid
