Question Windows 10 crashing? During install at language select

I have an hp 2000 laptop I am trying to install windows 10 on. I've made an installation media onto a USB, I can boot to it and I get to the language selection screen but as soon as I click accept the screen goes black with a cursor for a moment then just black no cursor.

I am currently trying to just leave it running like this for a while in the hopes it's working away in the background.

There isn't a working OS on the computer at the moment but I can get into the bios. I've tried just about everything various similar threads have suggested.

(Solution) the problem was that secure boot was enabled in the bios. It was that simple.

It's the windows 10 installation media from the Microsoft page so I would assume it's the latest one

I left it alone for a while now with the black screen, it just randomly popped back to the language selection screen. After clicking accept again it is back to the black screen...
