Question Windows 10 Hijacked Remotely

Hi, im in need of some serious assistance. My laptop with Windows 10 has been hijacked via remote access. Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed slightly different things. Windows being open that I didn’t view or settings changed. I started digging and found what I believe could be malware, BUT have also seen evidence that someone is remotely. Can someone help me take back control?

the thing to do in these situations is to perform a virus scan. remote access is also possible but unlikely, so it could be a malware on the computer.

download a good antivirus program and run it so that you'll be able to get rid of any viruses.
a good antivirus program will also monitor any external connection, which could be established remotely as well.

What evidence have you seen of remote access? Try disconnetcing from the Internet and see whether you still see Windows being opened etc.

I could possibly be being extra, but there is most definitely a virus or malware

Grab Malwarebytes and/or Hitman Pro. Remove all identified threats.

Does your router allow remote access? If so, close that.

I thought that is what you meant, but that could very well be a valid entry from your (or a previous) phone.

Was just checking. See earlier recommendation.

It may be worthwhile to use a known safe computer to download a USB installer for your laptop OS and perform a clean install to the laptop.

I would also suggest your using the safe PC to change all your passwords. If your phone has been compromised it may also be a good idea to factory reset it. With sites that you can set things not to remember you and also turn on 2FA or such.
