So I'm having a bunch of problems with Windows 10 64 bit. Counter Strike GO won't start, but every other game will. I've installed f.lux, but I get the error (0x0150004). I've installed Advanced System care and a bunch of the components from that app get the same error. Now I don't know if CS:GO is not wokring, becuase of Windows 10, but I'm assuming it is.

Right now I have Norton Security, Malwarebyte, and Advanced Systemcare installed. I'm also looking at the update history and I see the message "Failed to install." Just tried installing another update and I see "Error 0x800f081f." Could this be affecting them? Also, yes I've reinstalled Steam, f.lux, and Advanced Systemcare. I've also tried deleting Norton, Malwarebyte, and Advanced Systemcare. Still they don't work.

I feel like all of these problems are stemming from Windows 10... I really need some help on this. I'll reinstall the OS if I have to, but I want that as a last resort.

Both of them are .net errors

can you right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter

If you are on version 1703, we can try this command but it might not work as Microsoft have broken it in the latest version of windows.

Download a copy of the win 10 iso from Here - create ISO by telling it you want to make DVD - and then mount that ISO in file explorer (see Here) and then copy paste the below command into command prompt (admin)

Type or paste Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source: PARTITION:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess.

Where you see PARTITION, put the drive letter of the Windows 10 ISO. For me, this was ‘Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess' as the installation DVD was in my E: drive.

once source completes (if it completes), Type or paste ‘dism /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth’ and hit Enter.

If you have a version prior to 1703, go to here and click the Upgrade now button. that will download the upgrade assistant. Run it and it will upgrade you to latest version of win 10 and maybe fix this

I have version 1607 and so I did what you said and tried to update the version to 1703. However, I'm getting the same application error (0x0150004).

oh fun. Do you have another PC? download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB, and use it to update the PC.

put USB in PC
open file explorer
navigate to USB
run setup.exe
it should offer to upgrade PC

If it still throws its hands in air, I would do a fresh install at some stage after copying everything off C you want to keep (helps if you have 2 hdd)

Sorry! I'll do it ass soon as I can. Been caught up trying to prepare for a trip. I'll have the results by the end of today.

Thank you for your patience.

It looks like not even downloading the media creation tool and then transferring it to my PC worked. I guess this means I have to reinstall windows 10? I guess I'll do that, however I'll also completely wipe my HDD's.
