So back in April I pre-ordered and bought all the parts for a new rig. (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RWp8QZ)
Here's some history: Around April 30th, the first day that my computer wiz friend built my it had some boot issues from the jump. B4 error code and randomly A2. Tried unplugging all USB ports and boot up and still would get it. Sometimes it would boot up normally and sometimes not, like I said very random. I updated BIOs and avoided restarted my computer to try to avoid the errors. Along with the B4 error code I noticed some strange errors. For example waking my computer up from sleep with my keyboard or mouse resulting in hearing my computer fans and lights turn on but no monitor display at all. (I've tried turning the monitor on with the power button, but it seems it's not getting any input source) I would always hard restart my computer when this happened but after a few times of this happening I noticed if I waited about 3-4 minutes, the monitors will turn on. There are some instances when waking my computer up, the screen turns on right away, but it's like frozen. Mouse works as in, I can move my cursor around but when I click on applications or browsers, nothing happens. After 3-4 minutes or so, sounds like fans accelerate more and everything I was clicking and trying to do happens at once. Interesting thing is that, I haven't seen the B4 code anymore but now I'm having the sleep issues more frequently.
Things that I've done on my own:
-reseating RAM, GPU
-Making sure some screws aren't too tight
-Tried disabling/enabling Windows 10 power & sleep settings
-Clearing CMOS
-Making sure ErP was disabled in BIOs
-Updating BIOs
Just wanted to say when it runs, it runs perfectly fine playing games and functionally normally.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I want to trouble shoot as much as possible before I throw in the towel and start asking for replacements through ASUS and/or Amazon.
