So I tried everything reformated gave it a letter, still didn't work. Then I tried to clone my old hard drive to my SSD to get the OS on there and it still won't pick it up. My Laptop is a dell inspirion 14 3451. Can anyone help with my problem? Also the SSD won't recognize on diskpart on cmd for some reason, but the bios recoignizes it.

Solution
According to your laptop's support page there is a BIOS update dated 13th Oct 2015. Might want to get that if your BIOS isn't up to date an you also might want to see if your other drivers are up to date such as the chipset. Try and see if the SSD is found in Disk Management whereby all you'll need to do is assign a drive letter to it. A better illustration on the matter.

Another question is did you come to Windows 10 via the free upgrade path or with a new installation? Its not a good idea if you're going for a cloned install of Windows 10 while it's advised that you install clean. If an upgrade path to your new OS was taken then you'll need to revert to older OS change hardware...

If you own a licence key to an installation of Windows 10 then you can just proceed with a clean install.

Solution
delete all partitions go into bios set ssd as ahci (might show as lgacy + ahci) and make sure it is the primary boot device ,
dont have hdd plugged when you do this.install windows ,update ,power down .plug hhd back in power up and it should work fine
