Windows 10 somehow slightly reset itself - and now second monitor dont work

Hi.

So my Windows 10 have somehow randomly reset itself to some degree.
When I turned on my computer this morning, the tiles menu had gone back to default - removing all my tiles and replacing them with xbox app, explorer and what not.

Moreover, my second monitor has stopped functioning and I am trying to bring it back. I know that it is being detected by my graphics hard and that I can send a signal to the screen by disabling and enabling the graphics card in device manager (the screen will quickly turn on, display "no signal" and turn itself back). I dont think neither the graphics card, cable or monitor is faulty, but that this is a software related matter.

I wonder if anyone has experienced anything like this before? And if anyone has a suggestion on how to bring my second monitor back to life?

open your graphics software and select how you want your desktop to be. Extended display etc.

After having messed about with for some time, I figured that Windows somehow altered some of my drivers - including the graphics driver, my keyboard drive, mouse etc.

Simply performing a complete re-install of the drivers fixed all the issues ---> including getting my monitor back online.
