Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List all attached peripherals.

= = = =

Confirm and reinstall the mouse drivers.

the mouse drivers is "mice and other pointing devices" in device manager, right ?

never had to remove/reinstall mouse drivers before, just wanna make sure

Even the slightest bit of lint or dust near the optical sensor will do this. Even a breeze of air will move something tiny like lint, and when it is close to the sensor the movement is magnified. Other causes are possible, but look very closely at cleaning it near the sensor, and try (at least temporarily) putting it on an alternate surface to rule out something on the original surface.

uninstalled every device under "mice and other pointing devices", restarted and used the "Firmware Update Tool" on the mouse's support page downloads on the logitech website which found nothing but the mouse still spazzes out
also tried g hub but it also says the firmware is up to date

Look in Reliability History/Monitor for any error codes, warnings, or even informational events just before or at the times of the mouse malfunctioning.

Run the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Run "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to look for and fix corrupted or buggy Windows files.

Do other mice work correctly?

Does the mouse work on another known working computer?

Determine if the problem follows the mouse or stays with the host computer.

nothing in Reliability History/Monitor or event viewer
troubleshooters didn't work
"dism" and "sfc /scannow" found nothing
other mice work correctly
the mouse works on my windows 11 home laptop

lightly hit the mouse on the bottom and it stopped Parkinson'ing for now
edit : it worked fine for less than an hour

Some issue that the laptop can tolerate but the host PC cannot.

Check the mouse configuration options on the host PC.

Perhaps some change in responsiveness will make a difference.

Compare PC and laptop mouse related setttings/configuration.
