When we start up our Dell All-In-One Window 11 computer we are getting it a message that says:

"You're about to be signed out

Security Alert: Access To This Computer Has Been Blocked Due To Suspicious Activities..Computer Will Shut Down In 1 Minute..Please Call Microsoft Support For Help
1-614-***-****(Toll Free)"

I am fairly certain this is a scam and was hoping someone could help with instructions on how to bypass this and remove the virus / etc. causing it.

Thanks!

Mike

While there are instances where of corrupted file structures/profiles that could create such a situation and message, the fact that it includes a non-1-800 toll free number screams to me that it's a virus/scam.

As noted above, your best bet here is a format and reinstall of the OS.

Can I download that from someplace? Do I need to contact Dell to get a new Windows 11 Registration / Serial Number?
