Hello, I have this issue where I can't boot either os. I am getting a bcd error when selecting my windows 10 drive, 0xc0000098. I also tried to fix the system using a windows 10 drive that I got with my windows 10 copy that I bought but it just says that the bootmgr is corrupt. Please help i am losing my mind over this.

If you have a license key for Windows 10, you can recreate your bootable USB installer using Windows Media Creation Tools. As for the repair, chances are that they can't be repaired and the OS needs reinstalling. before we get to reinstalling, see if this guide helps you out.

IF BCD (Boot Configuration Data-store) is corrupt, then repair it.
Boot from windows installation media into command prompt mode and use bcdboot command to fix BCD configuration.
Syntax is

bcdboot C:\windows /s H:​

C - windows OS partition, H - bootloader partition.
In Recovery environment drive letters may be different. C - may not necessary be OS partition.
Bootloader partition may not have drive letter assigned, then it must be assigned manually.

Sorry, I wrote it a bit wrong. The drive that I got is a official windows 10 usb flash drive you get when your purchase windows from a local store.
