Hey all,

I have Intel Dual Core 2.66Ghz and 2GB RAM. Intel D945GCL MotherBoard. No graphic Card in PCI E slot. 500 Watt PSU
Late these days i've been converting some of my lectures using Sony Vegas Pro 10.
It was working fine; but since Yesterday when there was power cut and my UPS kept system going like always; but yesterday CPU stopped and only NUM Lock Light , Mouse Light and Motherboard light was on.
I tried Pressing keys and moving mouse thinking it as sleep but it didn't started.
I pressed Power Button of CPU also then also not started.
And then i waited for around 1.5 Hours but it was as it is.
I restarted and all my work that was going on was gone...
It also happened again Today.

Can anyone tell me that in-spite of UPS (Which works fine as of today even after that issue) why my system while Overclocking goes into deep sleep when there is power cut?

What is solution for this?

Kindly answer ASAP

Thank You

Ok i see your point..but my cabinet Case is opened as i go for such processing.
also this only happened when power goes out and UPS backed up....
Do thermal shutdown takes place in such situation and not in any other??
And i am sorry what does O.C. stands for?
