Windows 7 email program?

I have just installed Windows 7 and so far so good.

But I have no email. I cannot find any icon/program for it.

Any idea?.

One does not get an email client 'built in' Win 7 as was with previous Windows versions which is a pity, but don't go with the automatic download of Windows Live Mail; it's a heap of crap, unlike Windows Mail which is/was the Vista client and a beauty!

Windows 7 does have email client built-in, only that it has been deactivated. I just reactivated it (called Windows Mail, the same as in Vista) by making a shortcut "\Program Files\Windows Mail\winmail.exe" and replaced the file 'msoe.dll' in Win7 with Vista file (either with 32bit or 64bit depends on Win7).

okay well I’m running windows 7 ultimate with windows mail on it, This is the steps you follow go to any “windows vista” PC then in the "C:\Program Files" copy the "Windows Mail" folder and go and past it in the windows 7 Program Files but remember to rename the current "Windows Mail" then right click on the "WinMail.exe" and send to Desktop....... Enjoy...

Could you please give me details...step by step how to do this?
I have found the msoe.dll on my windows 7.
