I used MS Express for years - is there a good mail program for Windows 7 yet?

In my opinion, the best mail client going is Thunderbird (mozilla.com). Fast and secure and quite easy to use. It will also import your old Outlook Express stuff flawlessly.

Well, the direct replacement for Outlook Express is Windows Live Mail: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mail?os=other

Can't comment on how good it is (use Outlook 2007 personally), but it certainly fits the "free" criteria!
