A Friend of mine recently downgraded to Windows 7 because he didn't like Windows 8, when he had 8 installed He could use Wi-Fi fine, but when he installed Windows 7 It wouldn't even connect via LAN, we downloaded the drivers off of the Gateway website and we installed ALL the drivers for Internet on his model, (We downloaded the Windows 7 Version of the Drivers if it Matters) Only 1 of them worked and that was for the Ethernet Cable, his Ethernet Cable is currently in use on something else so he needs to use Wi-Fi, If you need any Additional Info Please reply and I'll let you know!

Once you have it, then uninstall the ones you have. Reboot (cancel any prompts you have about installing the windows drivers) and then install the drivers you just downloaded.

See how that works and let us know if all worked well.

Best Luck
