Windows 7 or Windows 10?

My OS right now is windows 7 professional 64bit and I don't know if I should upgrade it to windows 10. By the way I have a Gaming PC.

Please explain briefly.

Well, it does bring you the DX12 if you upgrade. But you might as well wait until next year. After all, the upgrade will be free until around summer 2016.

yes upgrade it, they are stopping support and updates for Windows 7 soon meaning that your security will be at risk, also windows 10 has a feature that increases performance while gaming as it ignores most background applications increasing performance on your game

The mainstream Win10 is still buggy which is why I say you should wait until early next year. Until somewhere around march-april.
By then there should be enough bug fixes for it.

I have upgraded all our family systems and helped several clients do the same. None have experienced "bugs" or any sort of performance decrease. Most report feeling improvements in the use and performance. This combined with the up to date evolution of the OS makes in preferred by myself.

Security updates to Win7 will be free until Jan 14, 2020, they are ending free non-security updates and phone support on Jan 15, 2016.

Very few applications that came standard in Win7 will not be supported, but only one, IIRC, will be removed during the upgrade. (WMC)

The only really big thing is DX12, which for a gaming rig is something to seriously consider. If you can live without WMC, and most people can, upgrading to Win10 would be a good thing.
