I have a Toshiba satellite s55-c5262
It has Nvidia 950M GPU
I have windows seven ultimate.

So here is my problem:

- I reinstalled my OS on an SSD
- After a series of updates I found that once I put in my credentials It would not load up it would be stuck at the welcome loading screen.
-After some research, I found that my GPU driver may be causing the issue
-So I booted into safe mode, was able to load up the OS and I uninstalled the driver.
-I then rebooted and was able to get on. I then uninstalled the physx software and rebooted again.
-I then opened Geforce experience and reinstalled the drivers using a clean install.
-After installation the PC rebooted and I am once again stuck at the loading screen.

Is there a flaw in my procedure? As in missing a step or trying something different? Or is there a specific windows update that is causing this issue?
Or do i need to install an earlier driver first?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,
Josh

Thank you but unfortunately That did not work.

the 3D Graphics device does show up in my device manager.
After booting back into safe mode I deleted everything nvidia all extra folders files. Everything. I then went into %temp% and deleted everything there. I started completely fresh. I did not use Geforce experience like you reccomended and Installed the driver straight from the nvidia website.

This is why I think there is a windows 7 automatic update that may be interfering but I have no idea what that could be.

I will keep working at it to see if i can find the solution
