Windows 7 Taskbar looks like Windows 98

So I am updating my Windows 7 Ultimate PC, and the task bar still looks like that of Windows 98. Any ideas?

Easy one. open the start menu, right click on it (not on icons) go to properties and select the non classic start menu.

Oops gave you instructions for windows XP. For windows 7 it is easier. Right lick desktop, click personalize, click windows 7 aero theme, and click apply.
