Yeah, disappointing, as it's relevant to my interests.

Of course, as I want the Pro version, I'm guessing I'll still have to pay the full freight for the retail version (I could go OEM, but would lose the ability to do an upgrade).

sigh ...if not for my job, I'd probably just switch to Linux, entirely.

But a valid Win 7/8.1 will still upgrade to a Win 10 license. I personally did it a couple of months ago.
