I have 2 harddrives that run on RAID. i got an update from Microsoft and after the update I got a black screen after I press the power switch. I was confused on what happens and how Microsoft allows an update that messed with my computer. After going through BIOS I saw that it switched from RAID to IDE. That resolved the problem and booted normally.
But the thing is after EVERY shutdown it switches back to IDE and gives me an error "Select proper boot device blah blah blah and hit any key" and I have to go back into bios and it's annoying regardless if I hit exit and save changes. I contacted Microsoft and they are saying ti's not their fault and I can't say it is 100% theirs since it might be a compatibility issue.
i just want someone to help my BIOS save it as RAID how it used to be rather than always switching it from IDE to RAID.
Thanks for any help!
