If your hardware isn't supported by it's manufacturers in Windows 10, you will have issues. The only real hardware issues are specialty hardware and old graphics and audio devices. If your graphics card is old enough to not be supported, IT WILL NEVER SUPPORT DX12

xbox 360 controllers work 100%, and most printers will work just fine. If it has Windows 8 drivers, it works in 10 (and a lot of Win7 drivers work as well).

Stop saying that idiotic nonsense. Windows 7 will NEVER get DX12, and in fact it will never get any updates apart from security ones because the 5 year mainstream cycle ended. DX12 requires WDDM2.0, which integrates into the kernel too much for any older version to ever reintegrate. DX12 is only for Windows 10 and later OSes. END OF STORY

First of all, there aren't any DX12 games yet so I have no idea what "perspective" you might have.

DX12 adds a lot of features, but if we just focus on one then let's discuss CPU utilization. For people with relatively weak CPU's DX12 can (if used properly) completely eliminate CPU bottleneck.

Even for those of us with fast CPU's it's still common to get stutters caused by the main thread suddenly being overwhelmed so games should run smoother with DX12 on fast systems.

It also can make GPU's run better. Even at "100%" usage, a GPU is actually not 100% used. Ever wonder why Furmark runs so hot? With DX12 the scheduling lets more of the GPU's areas be used at the SAME time.

Seriously, not sure what your comment is supposed to mean but you may want to do some research.

DX12 is needed for PS3 emulation on RPCS3 and for Xbox360 emulation on Xenia
